Ok, fellow bloggers, please forgive me as this is my first futile attempt at joining your stratosphere. I have absolutely no clue as to what I am doing, but hey, what the heck!
My name is Lyndsey and I am a fashion student here in the crazy, beautiful, occasionally perplexing city of Glasgow, Scotland. Having multiple friends who keep blogs, I thought I would get in on the act and see what all the fuss is about. I love to write and expressing myself through the medium of permanently imprinting ink onto paper has always been a release for me, so I guess I wondered if I could find the same passion and reaction in putting myself out there and writing to people whom I have never met, and probably never will. Can methodically tapping out my thoughts or opinions in front of a screen give me the same satisfaction and release as frantically scrawling them across the perfectly clean page of a freshly bought notepad for example? We shall see. (Coincidentally, few things give me more pleasure in life than a freshly bought notepad...)
This blog is really just a place for me to have a good old chat about things that I have seen, beautiful clothes, architecture, landscapes, people and things that I feel compelled to write about, issues that really bug me or topics that I feel the need to rant about in the hope that people may feel the same need to rant and find solace in my crazy ramblings. Favourites of mine are probably going to be mentioned more than once, you have been warned, I have been told I have a rather trying habit of repeating myself! Books are probably also on the menu, or films, or photography, or food, or travel, or whatever really. Love, life and the universe generally make for good conversation. Failing that, I can always just talk about the weather, and trust me, the Scottish weather is confusing enough to give me a good few blogs worth of material.
So here goes, my first published blog article, finished and ready to go!
